IBEX Supplies offers two standard heavy duty steel road plate options, both measuring 1200 x 2400mm.

Anti-Skid Steel Road Plate

19mm Thick – 1200 x 2400mm – 440kg

The anti-skid steel road plate features a specialist anti-skid coating to provide additional surface traction. It is particularly suited to locations where vehicle or pedestrian access crosses a temporary excavation and additional slip resistance is required.

Plain Steel Road Plate

19mm Thick – 1200 x 2400mm – 420kg

The plain steel road plate provides a strong and durable covering for trenches, excavations and temporary openings. Its heavy duty 19mm steel construction makes it suitable for demanding construction and highway applications where reliable temporary ground protection is required.

Handling & Installation

Steel road plates are heavy products and must be handled using suitable mechanical lifting equipment. Each plate is supplied with lifting holes to assist with positioning and handling.
