What is an RB22 Barrier?

An RB22 Crash Barrier, is just one of our brilliant products from our range of water-filled barriers. They are sturdy plastic barriers made from UV stabilised polyethylene; helping provide security for your site, directing crowd and traffic control. They are often used on construction sites, roads and highways and at public events for safety separation. Water filled barriers are becoming increasingly popular for their rapid deployment when empty, yet their hefty weight when full.

The RB22 Barrier system is not only versatile but has been designed to offer maximum safety as one of the quickest deployable barriers available. When empty, these barriers do not need a forklift to position and place. This means the RB22 can be set up on site by two operatives, which is handy for fast application.

Can the RB22 Barriers withstand impacts? Are they able to be seen clearly?

The RB22 system is strong in controlling the impact of errant vehicles. The RB22 has been fully tested by TRL – The Future Of Transport, to BS EN1317 -N1. This means our barriers have been thoroughly tested to comply with their legislation on: Road restraint systems, Performance classes, impact test acceptance criteria and test methods for safety barriers including vehicle parapets. Our RB22 Crash Barriers can withstand impacts of up to 50MPH and can be reused after impact if the barrier remains intact. 

Our RB22 Crash Barriers are stocked in red and white at the Ibex Supplies depot for high visibility.  However, if you require alternative colours, we can provide any RAL colour chart match. Please do not hesitate to ask.
