GB2 Traffic Barrier

The GB2 traffic barrier from Ibex Supplies is a heavy duty barrier ideal for roadworks, crowd control and anywhere you need a tough, highly visible barrier. Light and easy to move when empty and sturdy when full, these barriers are a simple way to manage traffic.

These popular water filled barriers provide ground coverage of 2m each and are ideal for crowd control and security in high-risk zones such as events, building sites and roads.

Each GB2 traffic barrier measures 2060mm x 860mm x 500mm and weighs just 32kg when empty and 350kg when full. They are straightforward to install and can be moved by hand or forklift. A filling hole at the top allows each barrier to be quickly filled with water to provide an almost immovable barrier for any use.

Each GB2 barrier is manufactured from UV-stabilised prime polyethene and is finished in high visibility red and white colours. They are typically paired to provide a visible red and white barrier along the entire length of a hazard.

The GB2 traffic barrier can be complemented by the GB2 mesh fence panel, half hoarding and mesh panel or hoarding panel for a more complete barrier.

The GB2 traffic barrier is a truly flexible barrier capable of stopping almost anything. Each barrier is very visible and weighs an impressive 350kg when filled with water. Easily enough to effectively manage foot or vehicle traffic in almost any situation.

The design of these barriers is easily visible. They are available in red and white coloured units for maximum safety. These water filled traffic barriers attach together with ease at both ends and are fully compatible with both hoarding and mesh panels.

The barrier itself is 860mm high but you can expand that up to 1400mm further with a hoarding panel and add another 400mm with a mesh fence addon. Both additions attach easily to the GB2 traffic barrier using the convenient fitting holes on top. Hoardings and panels can be further stabilised with the connecting pole to provide a very robust barrier.

The mesh fence panels are rated to up to 78mph winds, the hoarding panels are rated up to 38mph and the half hoarding half mesh panels are rated up to 45mph.

Due to the ease at which these barriers stack together, 180m worth can be loaded together in a single delivery. Each GB2 barrier weighs 32kg when empty, rising to a mighty 350 kg when filled with water. This provides an incredibly solid, near-immovable base for a continuous barrier run, including angled and curved layouts.
